PESCO Unit Rates | PESCO Unit Price
Starting from the 1st of July 2024, you will notice a significant increase in your monthly PESCO bill. This is because the government has decided to increase the electricity unit rates.
Previously, the cost per unit, which we call the tariff, was lower. However, now the electricity tariff significantly increased, meaning you will pay more for the same amount of electricity as compared to before.
However, National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), has not yet officially announced these new rates. To put it simply, you can expect to pay a much higher electricity bill this month and in the coming months.

A-1 General Supply Tariff – Residential
The minimum monthly customer charge under tariff A-1, when no energy is consumed, is as follows.

In this category, there will be no minimum monthly charge if no energy is consumed. However, fixed charges will still be applied based on the load or actual MDI for the month.

The fixed charges will be billed at 50% of the sanctioned load or the actual MDI for the month, whichever is higher.
